- Album with miniatures (mostly pictures of women) and calligraphic pieces, mainly in the Mughal style of the second half of the 18th century; but also earlier works, including a calligraphic piece in Nastaʿlīq, signed by Muḥammad Darvīsh al-Samarqandī (dated 1042/1632-33), a yogini playing music from the Deccan (Bijapur, 2nd quarter of the 17th century, f. 13a) and a bust painting of Mary based on a European model (f. 12b, ascribed to the Mughal painter Bālchand, but stylistically 18th century). Six leaves (f. 10-15) come from a predecessor album owned by Bayram Khān (Mughal officer active ca. 1750-60), for which margins from the mid-16th century were reused, dedicated to the Shybanid Uzbek ruler ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Khān (r. 1539-51). Another album leaf probably comes from an album of Ghulām Ḥusayn Khān (d. after 1781), as it bears his seal impression (f. 24b).
